Salman Khan is known for lavishing expensive gifts on people close to him, but this time the Samaritan Salman was stumped by the generosity of his dad Salim Khan’s good friend Zafar Sareshwala.

Zafar, who is the managing director of Parsoli Group, came to know of Salman’s fondness for the BMW cars and decided to gift the actor a brand new model of BMW X6 SUV with the market price touching Rs 75 lakh.

Salman and his brother Sohail Khan went to Ahmedabad earlier this week to collect the luxury car from a showroom of Parsoli Motors. Salman was also slated to make an appearance at Gitanjali Jewels showroom in the city. But when he learnt that thousands of fans had come to the venue to meet him, he changed his plans.

In fact, as many as 5,000 fans gathered outside the Le Meridian hotel where Salman and Sohail had checked in. The situation got so out of hand that the police had to resort to lathicharge to keep the frenzied mob in control.
