Team Of Film Jail Celebrated Diwali With Tihar Jail Prisoners
The cast and crew of the film “Jail” celebrated Diwali with the prisoners of Tihar Jail and its inmates on October 19 in Delhi.
Present were director Madhur Bhandarkar, actors Neil Nitin Mukesh and Manoj Bajpai, and music director Shamir Tandon (pictured above).
On the occasion, the song “Data Sun Maula Sun”, sung by Lata Mangeshkar for the film, was unveiled for the first time. Shamir Tandon and the other celebrity visitors performed the song which is picturised as a prayer inside the prison in the film.
Further to the meet and greet, the ‘Jail’ team also had lunch with the prisoners and distributed sweets.
Directed by triple National Award winner Madhur Bhandarkar, ‘Jail’ is all set to release on November 6.
