After the success of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Black, Ayesha Kapoor is making a return with the film Sikander.
In Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black, Ayesha Kapoor left a lasting impression as the young Michelle. But the Puducherry-based actor chose to stay away from films.
The 14-year-old is now back with Piyush Jha’s Sikandar. Set in Kashmir, it’s the story of a boy Sikandar and his friend Nasreen, played by Kapoor.
The boy’s chance discovery of a gun sets in motion a series of events that change everything. “I was looking for a face with a lot of meaning. Ayesha was my first and only choice,” says Jha.
